Is the shopping channel always this laggy?

Hey guys, I finally got my Wii, I got Wii 1 of 6 from a game shop and i've just connected it to the internet.

Anyways, i've updated the firmware easily and the forecast channel is very cool, but I wanna get the browser. So i've connected to the shopping channel and it's been saying "connecting" for 10 minutes now, is it very laggy or something, I mean, the Firmware upgrade only took 5 minutes

It normally only takes a few seconds to load up, I would suggest you restart it and try again.

yeah i've done that now. i was just a little worried. im posting this on the wii. it's brilliant.
