Is there a chance that my phones car charger is too much for my car?

It doesn't matter if you have a 2.1a charger, the most an iPhone will draw from it is 1amp at 5V.

well. i put the charger in another car and it works fine. but all other chargers work on my car

i have given up with it and plugged a USB cable into my headunit.
