As the unregistered version can only do 30 sec long chunks, if there is a free version or something that can do longer chunks, that would be ideal. 
Is there a free alternative to FRAPS?

Xfire has an excellent in game cam I've heard. Don't personally use it though.

Like I said, I haven't tried Xfire or any of them. Well I didn't say that, but, I haven't lol. Only going on Xfire because of what people have said to me. Xfire is free too.

CamStudio? It's not the best quality... there's also Hypercam, but that puts a watermark on it.
Cheers guys, I was hoping I'd find something that wouldn't slow up my PC as much as fraps, but after trying a few others, it does seems fraps is king!
