I'd guess that was Gilly from the tone but I may be wrong there. As for why it might be banned - it's awfully overused as a response to anything about Facebook but that's just supposition from me.

I had a similar thing but was with Likes not Friends, the only way you can do it is with Pro as they have that bulk amendment thing.

My farm production has increases 800% and now i can one click, on the move, to go, my friends lists were ever i am via Wireless protocols.

Look into it. Don't be put off by the registration fees or monthly $49 subscription

Why not just have an all-encompassing Facebook thread? There's a Youtube thread, and other similar sorts of threads, so perhaps it's time to bundle it all together in once place where questions can be asked and previous answers can be easily searched.

Account> Edit Friends > Click the cross to delete people, the only way to easily do a few at once, but you do have to click delete on each.
