I've managed to get a small scratch on my iPhone XS and my other half has scratched her P30. Reading around the only solution seems to be Cerium Oxide solution, but some people have said the downside is that it takes off the oleophobic coating.

So I'm basically asking if anyone has had any success in getting rid of such scratches, using that or anything else?

I’d like to try and repair the scratches if I can. You can repair all sorts of scratches on other products so I’m guessing there’s a method that works? Maybe not though.

I see the problem. Has anyone had success of superficially getting rid of scratches by putting a screen protector on after the event? I’m thinking the small amount of adhesive by fill it in?
