Hi, currently fed up of having to clean my case every month. I have 3x 80mm fans sucking air into my case and these seem to accumulate dust very fast. I also run my pc 24/7!! I tried going for dust filters but they get clogged with dust in a matter of weeks.

So is there a case out there that is dust free? and at the same time can keep my pc cool?

How can a case be dust free without using filters and cool well? It would have to be completely enclosed... think about it ;)

No case will magically remove dust from your room. If theres dust there being sucked in, it wont reduce with a different case. Just get something with 120mm fans. They are slower, and therefore quieter, and also should pull the dust in slower than the 80mm. You will still have to clean it out however.

P180/P182, sensible choice of fans (NOT the ones that come with it, far too noisy for the silence freaks out there), raise the case at least 1 foot off the floor (bulk of dust is at floor level), hoover the dust filters whenever your hoovering the floor and all stays clean and dust free.

if i watercool my cpu and graphics card, then i wouldnt need an intake fan anymore would i?

Fan Filter: £2

Watercooling setup: £100+

Ammount of people impressed by your epenis: 1 (you)

Money wasted: £98 + time and effort

All your doing is moving the dust problem from your case fans to your radiator, and spending a fortune in the proccess.

My V1000 is remarkably dust free. I know it's full of holes, but trust me I've had it for a year, and opened it up for a clean the other day, and there was not much to do other than wipe down the fans.

I'll second that!!! but add a Zalman MFC1 to control the speed of your choosen fans.

no fans = almost no dust.

clean filters every 6 months if that on my passive setup

3ghz quad and a clocked 8800GTX means thats not an option for me... Near silence is what I have.

I used to use a fan controller, but it was always on 7v.. Since switched to resistors inline to drop to 6.5v, temps are fine and its very very quiet.
