I want to do a clean install.

I have an iso from when w10 was released, but I would rather not have to download all the updates. Is it possible to get an iso that is fully up to date?

If you use the media creation tool it makes an ISO that at least has the November patch from last year. Not sure how often they roll other patches into it.

I have done a clean install now, and whilst the build from the media creation tool is not fully up to date, the amount of further updating required is fairly minimal.

When I'm old I will be able to tell my grand kids stories of how it took me 2 days to clean install XP up to SP3 level using a launch day ISO I burned to a 'CD' and having to download the updates over 'dial up'!

I'm going to be cool granddad Skeeter, I can tell :)

Windows 10 uses cumulative updates as well so it doesn't need to download uneeded updates, which speeds things up things quite significantly.

A fresh install is so not needed any more. Just use the built in refresh option with out keeping any of your files or programs and it will be as snappy and fresh as if it were a fresh install.

Thats a good point. If you already have W10 installed the Reset my PC option has the same effect of a format and reinstall, but without the hassle.

Does Reset My PC, Remove everything from all your drives or just the specific OS drive you have dedicated. I Dont want to risk it and lose TB of stuff across all my HD"s ?
