Is there any reason not to buy XMS3?

Not to be a party pooper guys but I can pass prime blend 12hours with sticks that fail in memtest. Ever done a linx run (max mem) for 50 passes or prime large ffts?

I've prime blended for 12 hours (I'm sure it would do 24hours) with no problem at the rated speeds with 1.50v but large ffts will fail within the hour. 1.55v isn't enough either. Bump up to 1.60 clears this up though.

I'm hoping I can get this down lower though.

I bought an ocuk 4ghz bundle about a year ago which had 4gb xms3 as part of it, about 9 months later i added a second 4ghz bundle as the price came down and it worked together a treat, i was worried i was going to get some problems, but its the best ram ive owned.

Geil is *supposed* to be a bit better, but I'm not so sure - they left public sector for a long time, and I haven't found any reviews.

I just tested my Geil real quick at under 1.5v:

I used to run it at those settings 24/7 until I figured out they do 6-7-6-20 @ 1T with a bit more voltage :D

Its Prime stable too. Shame you cant get these anymore, and that theres not much better available.

Heres Cas 6, it takes just 1.576v:
