is there any true unlimited ADSL deals still going?

Im on Bulldogs 8mbit LLU product. Awesome speeds and pings and totaly unlimted no port blocking or traffic shaping :) Only downside is that you have to take their phone service.

Try Dling 100Gig a month and you'll find it's not :p


Demon is pretty good as far as caps go. I've used it pretty heavily for 4 years and neither on 512 or 2M have i ever seen any sign of a cap.
 
Some people do well over 400gb a month over at ADSLguide and they are fine :) i have already amassed 23 gb in a week or so :) Bully are cool with it - they have the network capacity as well meaning you wont have rubbish speeds in the evening because everyones downloading.
 
The LLU providers can (kinda) get away with it, because they don't have the ludicrously expensive BT Centrals to pay for.
 
Yup, blame the caps on Ofcom imo. Ofcom will not allow BT Wholesale to lower central prices until there are x amount of LLU subscribers. So until then caps are inevitable.

And how much does LLU really help, it might make it better for people in larger towns who can chose between several providers, but the rest of the UK get same slow speeds and caps.
