So I kinda made a mess of my first year at sixth form chose the wrong subjects and Didnt do very well, so I changed one of my subjects to enviromental science and really enjoyed it did my A levels (well all one ) and my two As exams and passed the A level I took (only an E ) and have to As levels B and E, I wanted to carry on enviromental science but I was told I couldnt do just one subject so I left sixth form but still find myself really wanting to do enviromental science the second year but at 19 and having done two years aleady is there anyway I can? I know I missed all the starts of the course this year I guess I didnt really know what to do after they said I couldnt carry it on but just seems a shame to lose the chance of going to uni and a course I really enjoyed,
Thanks!

Could always look into College. Even if they dont offer A levels they will offer plenty of course that will give you access to Uni.

I suppose thats going to be the only way to go I will look into the college nea me, its always the way that you wished you had tried just that bit harder isnt it :( thats the way life works I suppose

lol you make college sound bad - I could never have gone to sixth form in my school - they were too dumb and had no social skills :D

college lecturers treat you completely different from sixth form teachers :p

btw as long as you stick at it you will get what you want - it just takes time and dedication.

thanks for the replies :) Ill look into doing enviromental science A level and see once I have that if I can get into uni with my other results

up my end, gateshead college is fine for a levels and if you speak to a uni person or guidance support person for education they will tell you best, also try asking for an interview for uni and they give conditional offers

you can do 1 a-level but as u wouldnt be classed as a full time student you would have to pay, but 1 a level is pritty useless even if u got an A in it if u wanted to goto uni

Sure, I did economics A-Level (for fun!) a few years ago, just a couple of hours in the evening once a week for one academic year. Hardly cost anything as I recall.
