Is this 40" 1080p TV good for Xbox 360?

Hope this is in right place :confused:

Anyway, I have just ordered this 40" Samsung 1080p HD LCD TV: LE40C530F1WXXU dont think i can post links but paste that into the samsung website for the details.

Now it will be mostly for Xbox 360 aswell as TV, but main reason for TV is good gaming experience (hopefully!).

Will this TV be good for Xbox 360? I mean Refresh rate etc? It will be for the new Xbox 360 slim.

I currently have 32" JVC HD Ready 720p TV and think its time for upgrade, so appreciate some comments regarding if it will be suitable for gaming. It says the TV has game mode so I assume its ok, but if i read the spec right the TV is only 50/60hz im not sure :confused:

I searched some more and i believe it is only 50 hz, will this do the job for Xbox 360 :confused:

I'm sure it will work just fine with your 360, although it might have been an idea to check these sort of things out before hitting the buy button?

thanks, i figured it should be just wanted to check. I considered everything when looking for a TV around £600 such as had to be 37" or more, full hd, good contrast ration etc, the refresh rate i forgot about. then I saw tvs with 100hz and i thought i might of ordered a bad tv for games if it was only 50hz, but apparently the game mode on most new tvs compensates for it or something.

will see anyway when it gets here.
