SHARP LC32D65E 32" 1080P LCD TV

With

Sharp BH-HP21 Blu-ray player.

For under £500? Seems good to me but just want to double check.

you could go sony 32V4000 and a sony bd350 for around £535. That would include 5 BR films if you get the player from asda

I'd also be interested to know about this if anybody is willing to give an opinion other than 'omg 1080p on a 32", lesbian!' - I see the point for people saying this, however:

While my main use would be for blu-rays and upscaled dvd's, the reason I'd like 1920x1080 on a 32" is because in a year or 2 to come it will no doubt be replaced with a 42"+ plasma or something similar for dvd's and blu-ray etc, leaving the 32" to be used as my main pc display.

If it has the same EPG as the 46" 1080p sharp i have downstairs i wouldn't get it. The damn thing changes channel every time you browse through the EPG so as your scrolling up/down its mega slow because it changes to each channel automatically. Absolutely stupid.

Hmm that does sound annoying - how is it for picture quality? Scaling of SD material, contrast and black levels?
