Is this a good position for the T-line?

or should the t adapter be higher up in the loop

I would personally move it along as it looks like it's going to pop off there ;)

Plus I would have thought more coolant would go straight instead of moving off to the left.

Have had a few loops with the T that low... Was a nightmare to bleed :(
Put it as high in the loop as you easily can, bleeds much quicker..

Or even better get a res, bleeds so quicly its untrue.

Also if possible use copper plumbing fittings and make a T up, wont restrict flow anywhere near as much as the standard plastic T's do....

(here's a comparison of the 90's, the T's are much the same)

Thats a half inch fitting on the right, and half inch pipe above... The copper plumbing fitting is 15mm ID...
To use the fitting simply cut some copper pipe to length, clean with wire wool, apply flux, insert into the self soldering fitting and heat with a blowlamp until the solder 'ring' appears between the 90 and the pipe.
Warmed up 1/2 tygon goes on fairly easily... Once cooled it needs to be cut off ;)

Remember to do all the bits of pipe that go into the fitting at the same time... The copper runs very quickly from the far side.
