Is this auction worth bidding for?

Hey, the ASDA store I work for is having a colleague auction to help raise money for charity - they're auctioning a bundle.

Bundle consists of:

Sony SDM-X73 monitor (display model)

Sony PSP (good condition, display model - no box)

Sony PS2 Slimline (good condition, display model and no box)

Basically it's available to anyone who works in the store providing the bid is reasonable and its the highest, I can't think of what to offer - I see some profit in this because the interest in it is pretty slim and only a handful of people are likely to bid for it.

I've got a 360 so the PS2 is getting sold straight away, and i'd probably get bored of the PSP... the monitor is a 17" tft and is probably ragged.

Bidding suggestions anyone??

Cheers.

ps. feel free to move this as its mixture of a few forums.

If you got it for £110 you could say;

£50 - PSP
£30 - Monitor
£30 - PS2

That'd be a bargain. Any higher and you're just paying the asking price, which isn't really worth it unless you actually want that stuff IMO...

Do you not feel a bit funny about trying to buy some thing out of a charity auction with a view to a profit?

Not at all. They're getting my money at the end of the day. If I win the auction the they got the most they could - I'm doing them a favour! I'm not even sure if its for charity, might be a fund for the colleague circle at work (goes to buy things for the canteen etc). Either way the charity gets money, I might keep the monitor/psp so it may come to use.
