I need a bigger car for work. i can get this E36 318 bwm for £600

currently have my MR2 which i dont want to sell but can rent a off road space for it for £20 a month in a lock up compound. I would then do work to it, make it look stunning and use it at the weekends.

i also however have a Mk2 Golf GTI which i am currently using as my project car to be atrack day car. which i keep in a garage that i rent.

now obviously the garage and parking space are in safe locked up locations. and the cars would not be insuraed to drive.

the bmw would be the only car i was driving, whilst doing up the other 2.

now is it really practical to have 3 cars :( i know it prob wont be, but i really wanna spend the time on the MR2 making that sweet, and also want the fun of the Golf. :(

choices choices :(

as long as both cars are SORN then its only the cost of the BMW to run, then spend all your cash on your toys.

Personally I would pick one that you are going to keep and stick that somewhere safe, work on the other with the intention of selling it, unless of course you could shift it on in its current state for decent money.

Having two 'fun' cars is probably a bit OTT and costly imo.

Sell the golf, stick the Mr2 on track and spend money from sale of golf to make it look/perform swish.

Problem solved.

old 318 = money pit. Stuff will break on it every week. You will be constantly under it, fixing it. Don't waste your money.
