Is this the best wireless antenna booster

Have just found this and it looks amazing value for money (£30) but are there any other ones i should consider?

That one is 15db and hawkings outdoor aerials are 14db which apparently when operating between 2 14db aerials can cover a distance of 2 miles so should be powerful.

Not used a booster before but the gain is pretty amazing and the range should be good on that.

It will be a lot more directional than the usual kind of antenna so dont expect it to fill your house with signal it will just send a lot more of it in a certain direction (which may bewhat you need)

Was hoping to be able to point it at uni library which is about 300m away (across a meadow though)

you need a very directional preferably outdoor mounted antenna probably a yagi type ie looks like a tv aerial, main problem is getting the right connecter

+15db may be enough, more would be better
