So 15% of the time?
I'd say you should stop slacking and get to class on time.

If he is at college, what are they doing writing to his parents. Mine never did. (wouldn't have done them any good anyway.)

His dad probably pays a lot of money for him to be there, I expect they keep the fee paying person informed of attendance and performance
