I would also second the nissan warranty as it will cover more than third party warrantys. the servicing cost from the main dealer are failry reasonable as they still include 1 year of breakdown cover as well.
If its a 1.2 petrol 2014-2017 they suffer from timing chain and oil consumption issues, is there any record of the engine/piston rings beinge changed?
If its a 1.5/1.6 diesel they love to blow turbos and have glow plug issues.
they all suffer with battery issues, hopefully this will have been changed from the origional FIAMM battery to a Varta.
They all suffer with air con condensor issues, poor quality from factory - car uses new style gas as well so the repair runs into high costs very quickly
radio/nav units had loads of updates out for crashing/freezing but again hopefully had these done.

Oh but this is if you buy the car directly from Nissan?

I'd guess, so we did, but it's not like the cars itself was any cheaper from a none Nissan Garage.
