Is V (TV Series) worth a watch?

Watched the first episode, looked really good, thinking of following up but been stung by too many series recently.

It's alright to be honest. Worth getting a box set and wasting a day over but there's a lot better out there in terms of tv series.

Yes. I like it, I liked it early on, although had an uneasy thing it was going to be O.C. with reptiles, between Erica / Anna and their kids and it would just endlessly rehash tiring story lines surrounding them, but the 2nd season has completely put those fears to rest and is really getting into the thick of the actual plot: the underground resistance of an alien invasion.

I like it. The first episode is set out quite differently from the other episodes from what I remember but it's enjoyable.

Definitely. The show is a lot more fast moving than the first, so characters aren't as well fleshed out to you but the episodes are very good and the plot remains solid. The second season is superb.

Not at the moment there isn't. All the good TV series have either ended full stop, or are on a break. On US schedules I'm talking about obviously.

The story is so so, but it's really worth watching for Laura. OMFG! :cool:

I am thoroughly enjoying V, it surprised me too as I was expecting it to be dull.

It suffers from a certain amount of dithering about with the story now and then, but you should expect that from pretty much any TV show these days. Some episodes I feel did nothing to enhance the story.
