Been a superb TT this year, Awesome stories behind the Podium finishers, Unbelievable close racing over such a long distance, Think the Top 10 did 130+ laps, Chuffed to bits for Hutchy with all he's been through.

Was talking to a woman in the health centre this morning and she was saying her parents were over at the TT. Apparently interviewed for the paper there as it's their 50th year going to the TT. In their 70s and have been going since their 20s. Haven't missed a year. Amazing.

I'll watch tonight, can't wait... the only problem I have with ITV is the lack of coverage... don't get me wrong it's good and entertaining but would want a longer programe with more in it... more racing etc... such a shame we don't get this on one of the biggest motobike events in the world if not the biggest... weird.

However, my view upto now on events and performances... Dunlop was never going to win IMHO with the late swap but he made the right choice in a way as if the bike wasn't right, if something had of happens....

Personally I'm a big Guiness fan BUT he's not been there this year... practive he was flying but come race day on the Super Bike... nothing... expected more... the Blade will never win now in stock form as it simply hasn't got the power... 6 year old designs against BMW? Mmmmm...

I've loved and always do love watching Ansty... always good and fustrating not knowing what Ansty we'll get but he was epic earlier in the week on the big bikes... he's always there on 600's... and with him and Hutchinson I expect them to be close today.

Yep, I'm going to book my trip... I've been promising for years and never got aroudn to it... BET HOTELS COST A FORTUNE AND GET BOOKED OUT EARLY?

Would like to go there for practice and race week tbh next year... ANY INFORMATION ON GOOD HOTELS TO STAY ETC WOULD BE APPRECIATED AND THEN CAN GET BOOKED ASAP.

What a mega TT, although my thoughts are with the fallen riders.
Roll on TT2016 and maybe a trip to the Classic TT later in the year.

Don't forget the southern 100 post TT races tomorrow too btw.

Part one of my 15th TT visit:

As always it's the overnight crossing I favour, I see no point in wasting daytime traveling up to the docks or on the water.

We were passed by a lot of bikes on the way up (obviously), they looked cold and wet.

OTOH it's pointless arriving on the island in daytime if you are so knackered you just want to go to bed.

We ride up to Liverpool from Devon/Cornwall and through Wales, taking the long twisty routes (e.g. Wye valley). That takes the best part of a day and includes some stunning roads, so we stay at a B&B overnight for an early morning crossing so we are fresh and ready to go.
