Hey

We are currently with aol, paying 17.99 pcm for up to 2mb, done a few speedtests recently ( speedtest.net and thinkbroadband.com ) the thinkbroadband test is showing my downstream as .2mbps and my upstream as .4mbps.

Obviously, i was aware that i was suffering slow connection, hence the tests.

Having done some quick scouting about 2 providers stick out

First is Orange, according to their 'estimator' i can get LLU enabled ( i admit here and now this means nowt to me ) service of up to 2mbps.

Second is Andrews & Arnold who are quoting the same speeds.

I'm approx 5km from the exchange which seems to hurt some estimators.

Basically, in the most long winded fashion ever, im looking for advice as to which ISP i should be considering next!

Cheers ocuk
