I imagine Israel will come down on them like an absolute tonne of bricks.

Israel won’t need any excuses for levelling everything Palestinian, I don’t imagine..

Sounds really bad, reading on the BBC about how militants have been driving down the streets taking potshots at Israeli civilians, have broken into houses, etc.

I am not an expert in middle eastern politics, but (and I don't mean this in any way of support either way) why don't Israel just conquer them? Are they incapable? Do they have allies?

A quick, albeit ignorant in many respects Google, shows there have been more Palestinian deaths this year than last year already. And that was dated in July.

Israel has declared war and called up the entire military and all reservists so likely once they have cleared out Israeli cities we will probably see a massive operation into Palestine/Gaza and Israel may completely take over all of Palestine/Gaza

Sderot is one of many illegally occupied settlements. It’s current occupiers are part of a settlement force.

Very similar to how russians are occupying parts of Ukraine and filling the occupied parts with russians.

It's difficult because wasn't it at the start of this year Israel did a while to if military strikes against Palestine which oddly didn't really make the news, much?

I'm always wary of mainstream media trying to influence you.

But on the face of it if the are driving around shooting civilians and breaking into people's houses that cannot be tolerated.

Meh nothing will change whilst the US props up Israel...they just have a blank check to do what they want.

Plus you have Iran now in the mix and tensions are only to get worse.

It would spark a massive war and justifiably so. Israel are already occupying land that doesn't belong to them and seen as a bully. The Arab nations would take it as an act of war against the Arab world.

It's a shame as so many Israelis I know loathe their government for their behaviours, but they're shut up because it's all or nothing there.

That said Hamas are an awful blood thirsty group too and don't represent the Palestine that people know.

Because everyone in USA feels partially Jewish but also because they run and own the banks!

They could. Easily. It's just frowned upon to attack people with no provocation in this day and age, and frankly Israel has been illegally stealing Palestine for decade and forcibly removing it's people. It's absolutely no different to what Russia did in Crimea so it would be massively hypocritical to back Israel on this.

If you support or at least have any sympathy for Palestine you're immediately antisemitic and a terrorist sympathiser.... It's not really fair.

I honestly don't think it's a solvable conflict until it reaches all out war and one side is near enough eradicated.
