Except you can't kill an idea. Many terrorists are devout Muslims (e.g. Wahhabism) and their interpretation of the Quran is unlikely to change. Technology only makes it worse as now for little money they can buy a paraglider, drones etc and do a lot of damage.

Not so sure, with the UN its effectively the world keeping the truce, you don't want the entire world on your back for whatever idiot reason you have.
Yet they can and will prosecute their own soldiers for killing Palestinians.
Hamas celebrates and cheers when their soldiers kill unarmed women and children in cold blood.
Israel jails their own soldier for killing an attacker after said attacker has been incapacitated.

however, it does seem a bit rich for settlers to be unhappy at the original owners coming in and taking their lands back, and of taking their children.
israel is an apartheid state, youll find that amnesty international have themselves said this.
