Apparently on the rumour mill there are pictures of beheaded babies doing the rounds now.

Not going to personally check this one out but Jesus wtf if true

It was reported by 'i24NEWS English' on Twitter at the site of the clearance of Israeli bodies from their homes in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. you can find their report on their feed. Hopefully no pictures will be released

They need to go in on the ground. Isreal has already said they expect heavy losses on their side too. This will not be easy. Hamas has demonstrated that it's necessary.
No, No they dont. Thats a terrible idea, FIBUA in a completlely hostile location, with civilians mixed in with combatants is asking for trouble.

Best israel can do is hold a siege, allow the anti air to handle the rockets and have air support looking for rocket sites. Then nail them as they pop up.

It would be a death sentence to send troops in when you have air and artillery superiority

That won't get the Tunnel network.

Sky news:
'The Israel Defence Force (IDF) has now increased the number of reservists it has mobilised to 360,000, with at least 35 battalions being organised into four divisions...'

This is going to be carnage :(

Didn't they initially take that land in the 6 day war? I thought the Golan Hieghts were specifically taken because they found it gave an attacking force too much of an advantage in that war and they never wanted to have to defend against that position again.

Not sure why you are mentioning the Golan Heights... The Palenstinian lands are the Gaz aStrip and the West Bank. Given its Internationally well knon that the occupation and takeover of Palestinian lands by Israelis is happening in the West Bank, I thought it would be obvious this is what I am referring to.

So do you agree or not that Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and removal of Palestinian people from said lands whilst not at war is wrong?

I think he is better looking after Ukraine.

Russia is pro-Israel. So they have no need to be inflaming the situation.

It would be risky. But Kadyrov correctly identifies the issue is with Hamas, not the Palestinian people.

Are they occupying the land as a result of armed conflict. Was there even a sovern against which Isrel could have officially declared war at the time they went in with their military?

Where, on the timeline, are you looking?

No they intentionally instageted attacks by the Syrians as they wanted the farm land.

General Dayan died in 1981. But in conversations with a young reporter five years earlier, he said he regretted not having stuck to his initial opposition to storming the Golan Heights. There really was no pressing reason to do so, he said, because many of the firefights with the Syrians were deliberately provoked by Israel, and the kibbutz residents who pressed the Government to take the Golan Heights did so less for security than for the farmland.

General Dayan interrupted: ''Never mind that. After all, I know how at least 80 percent of the clashes there started. In my opinion, more than 80 percent, but let's talk about 80 percent. It went this way: We would send a tractor to plow some area where it wasn't possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn't shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance farther, until in the end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use artillery and later the air force also, and that's how it was.''
