Israel-Hamas war - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

I'm starting to wonder, whether Israel are capable of solving this problem, because right now - looking at those rocket attacks hitting Ashkelon, they're taking serious damage.

Yes - they can raze Gaza and turn it into Grozny in the 90s with AirPower and artillery, but the problem of Hamas will still be there.

This is a huge problem for Israel to deal with, they're going to have to conquer Gaza, and take control of it - because it won't stop now, unless they do.
 
BBC R4@1 even permitted an interviewed member of the knesit to go unchallenged when they said sexual abuses had occurred,
before going on to ask them whether retaliation would include visits to Hammas leaders in Qatar.

Hamas are the Joker
Israel is Batman

except Batman kills the Joker in reality which causes other countries sympapethic towards Gaza to start a fight with Israel or at least, that is probably what Hamas hopes will happen, they want Israel to destroy Gaza, they want to Martyr the entire city in hopes of a larger conflict kicking off as a result

You’d think modern tech would allow them to strike launch sites quickly.

Regardless, occupy, decimate, integrate. Gaza won’t exist soon as it is now, there’s little other option on the table.

Then they’ve miscalculated, because they’ve forgotten about superman (the US) and no one in the middle east has kryptonite.

We don't have the decades of pure hatred (on both sides) and the indoctrination that the other side is subhuman.

Without those, I absolutely do not agree that we would genocide anyone.

It's a screwed up scenario I appreciate the average Joe in Gaza isn't burning babies but these idiots "celebrating" what's going on really need to have a good think about what it is exactly the are so happy about.

Are you sure I had the feed on earlier and most were intercepted by Iron dome.

I have seen one video of car on fire.

Because there is no evidence. There are unevidenced assertions.

Russian (inc wagner) activities in Africa are well-known, and there's masses of evidence. They publicise their activity there, for example. There is contract documentation.

I'll believe it when there is reason to believe it, not when someone says some stuff on twitter.

Doesn't seem like that is likely currently, Iran seems to be trying to distance themselves though I suspect heavily involved behind the scene, could be doing it to try and put Israel off-guard but I suspect they don't have the appetite for a direct confrontation. Most of the other countries like Egypt, etc. are just straight up nope at the idea of engaging Israel with the inevitable US support.

Latest reports seem to show intercept efficiency dropping off a bit, possibly having to conserve interceptor supplies, and from the north 10 managed to get through.

I sort of half agree, for me - Israel need to take Gaza, the whole lot - but how? It's a monumental task.

I mean, it's not an impossible task - but there's a cost associated with it, and it's a lot of Israeli and Gazan blood, a hell of a lot.

Doesn't need to be countries in an official capacity, there's plenty of terrorist factions in the middle east that if united could create a great deal of trouble for Israel and I'd imagine many more Islamist sympathisers who ordinarily wouldn't consider fighting but probably would in the right circumstances

The Houthi's have already said they're in if the US gets involved

The US played its key democracy card by moving in a carrier strike group. No other country in the region would be stupid enough to try it.
