Issues with Acer Laptop Screens?

Just thought this would be an interesting thread to start.

Previously owned two Acer laptop's and on both machines the screens went pop! Spoke to a friend who is a Tech head, he mentioned they are known for this problem.

1, Are they known for this problem?
2, Have people had many issues?

I believe acer had some issues with the 6920 and 6935g models where the screws were over tightened and can cause a diagonal crack. Only ever saw one with the fault though.

never got problem with this laptop. as long as all the screws are tight, open and close properly.
