"It's a real sport" :- Video Game World Cup

"This is a real sport and we think this year it will be going mainstream. There are TV channels in the US and Korea showing live video game matches, a new channel in the UK and growing interest all the time."

What channel is this?

Well it does say skill OR physical prowess, so there's no reason why it shouldn't be counted as a sport. :)

6 is awful. I always thought 4 had the best gameplay.

Should be FIFA tbh. :p

I'm surprised they're only playing the original version of CS.

Definatly a sport though, requires skill and practice.

Why? CS 1.6 has always been the best competetive team game practically since its release.

Definately takes a lot more practice than any who haven't played at a high level will ever realise.

Yeah if you like the insane shooting and glued ball to the feet dribbling :p

Nah, I just like my football games to actually look like well... football, and not 22 stick men on a green background! :p :p :p

I loved 4 at the time, took me a long time to adjust to 5 when it came but I think it was slowly moving in the right direction, 6 was the same, not what I wanted or expected and had lots of things missing, but still the best by far.

Having been involved with the PES community for a number of years, and known of the disappointment in 5 and 6, i was still unaware that anyone still played 4 at any level.
