Its been a while. Evo IX Content.

Looks pretty awesome, got any videos?

Carbon front splitter, rear wing and vortex generator would look pretty smart and contrast nicely against the white.

No videos yet but new gopro is on the way, so will be taking some soon. The rear wing is already carbon, the vortex generator and front splitter are possibilities however!

What's the advantage to buying an import over a UK model?

I believe the GT model was import only. The GT has all the options the GSR has, but with an RS rear diff, 5 speed short ratio gearbox and some other changes.

Well, it's obviously not as quick as a VR6 supercar....

P.S. wtf is that gearknob lol?!

Its a ralliart one, it came with the car. I quite like it actually, feels like I'm holding a snooker ball lol.

Love it!

What happened to the track development s2000?

A mixture of the above (it not really being a car for a person of 6ft 8) but primarily because I secured a drive in the Civic Cup (part of the Nippon Challenge) which sort of made the whole point of making the S2000 a track/race car redundant. Sold the s2000 and bought a B5 S4 which was nice but wanted something a bit rawer and more modern so sold that in January and waited for the right car.

I honestly wasn't even considering an Evo, I went to look at it on the off chance and fell in love with it. Its a great car. I know it has a certain reputation as being perhaps a little chavvy, but the exterior at the moment, bar the front splitter is as it came from the factory and personally I really like the aggressive look it has.

I went to see a 385BHP Evo 8 MR yesterday as some may recally in my post.

It was frightening, I was truly scared as a passenger in it. I doubt I'll ever exerperience grip and acceleration like that ever again. I have a new found appreciation for Evos more so now. I didnt buy it in the end as it was simply too powerful as well as some other issues (AC didnt work, had a twin plate clutch which I disliked)

without a doubt, an evo in the wrong hands is a killer, of either the driver or others. Im thankful I have track experience and the opportunity to continue racing on track. It has calmed my road driving down considerably.

Thats a very responsible attitude. I had to look inwards and ask myself if I thought I was a good enough driver, honestly, I don't think I am.

I'd certainly have an FQ300 or Impreza STI, but any additional mods to add power like what I experienced yesterday is not for me. Scary.

My girlfriend is constantly asking to have a go, she is a good driver (I wont tell her to her face) but there is no way she is getting behind the wheel of it.

nice piz <o/

Thanks Will :D

Done a few bits to it this past week. Fitted an Alpine IVA-520 Double din stereo.

No pics.

But the best part is the new wheels :D

There is a bit of rubbing on the rear arches, im gonna get that looked at this week. Over the moon with the look though.

8.3kg each without tyres, in case anyone is interested.

Very nice. What cams are you running to get that figure?

Some MR headlights would really set the white off in my opinion.
