Unless you have 6 monitors you will not notice the extra gig of Memory on Each 5870. You may as well save yourself some cash, and get the 1gig version. Or, if you want to spend lots of money, get a 5970 and a 5870, it's around the same price as two GTX480s and will most likely be faster than them

I know that the 2gb of memory will not do mush different but what do you thing of the other things in it like

ASUS Super Hybrid Engine: boost up to 19% GPU performance by reducing 54% power noise

Extreme Cooler: 13% Cooler and 22% Stronger Air Pressure with special designed fan
Which will reduces fan nose and temp which good for air cooling and good for overclocking

iTracker2: the world’s only memory timing adjustment and allow you to save the favorite settings into system and recover

The hybrid engine and iTracker are good additions, but they're only really useful if you don't plan on overclocking the card, as you can get higher results overclocking it manually. Grab an unlocked 5870 for 50-60 quid less and overclock it to 1ghz, save yourself a load and still get a stonker of a card!

I've read a few comments on here by people more knowlegable than myself that think that the memory won't be used and overclocking a cheaper standard card will be just as powerful. Seems a lot for a 5870...

It is a cracking card and can do 1500mhz core under LN2 (there is a thread about it on this forum)

However it is at least £30 over priced

I would expect a £50 - £70 premium on it not £100

at £370 ish i would consider getting one. But id rathert wait for Asus's ARES 5970
