I picked up MI1 special edition in the steam xmas sale for £1.87, shame this deal can't match that price.

I'll still be getting MI2 special edition for the nostalgia, though.

You may be thinking of the new Tales of Monkey Island, the first part of them was given away for free on 'speak like a pirate day' if I remember.

monkey island blows broken sword out the water.. its the same style but pirate based and dosent take itself seriously. Has a really good sort of classic feel to it, plus the music is great.
