It's 6 o'clock, the sun is still out, there's a nice cool breeze and I fancy going for a drive.

Shame my car's broken so I'll have to make use of the good weather and fix it instead.

Anyone else going to take advantage of the longer days?

I might actually go outside and clean my car... :o

I've just spent the last 5 minutes polishing my backbox.

It looks so much better now

Shame the rest of the car doesn't match its cleanliness.

I spent pretty much all of yesterday fixing the cruise control and a few other niggly problems on my car, wish I hadn’t bothered though, as it was freezing cold and the weather has been much nicer today.

If the weather is nice next weekend I might finally get round to changing the rear suspension spheres, and the front discs and pads are going to need changing sooner rather than later…

I washed and waxed my car, then took it out for a spin in my slippers (Better pedal feel) with the windows down!

Listening to the straight six roar and the tyres squeal = :D

Has just emphasised to me how much I need to get my shocks done, though. I was bouncing all over the place!

Been a gorgeous day. So I decided to sit here and play on my xbox all day :D

Would have been an ideal day to do an oil change, shame I'm still waiting on my oil filter to arrive

Did just go and take some pics though, red mica looks awesome this time of day

I washed & waxed mine today, after using the claybar last weekend. Looks even better now :D Took about 2 1/2 hours.

Went for a drive to the coast today. Took the Mrs and the dog. Nice walk on the beach... almost felt like summer - except i had a wooly hat, gloves and scarf on :D !

I've spent the day washing the family cars... great weather! :D

Dare I ask what happened?

I managed to shear a wheel stud off :o

When I was fitting the alloys, the drivers side front wheel didn't sit 100% true to the hub face. Instead of seeing what the problem was, I just tightened the wheel nuts a bit and checked to see if the wheel was sitting upto the hub ok.

It looked fine so I tightened the nuts properly and that was that. On Thursday I was pulling into a space in a car park, slow speeds and full lock when I got a nice big bang from the suspension. Jumped out to see a bit of stud to which my wheel nut was attached lying on the floor.

Not to mention a few other niggly problems that I might as well sort at the same time. And seeing as how I'm messing about with the hubs anyway, I'll take this opportunity to fit my suspension. I already knew that the rear bolts were seized so today, went and bought myself an angle grinder. Muchos fun to be had grinding bits of broken bolt off with sparks flying just inches from the petrol tank ;)

This weather is making me more and more gutted I totaled the MX5, hopefully ill be in something more powerful yet more sensible anytime soon though!
