It's too hot :(

Evenings are still cold though, and it wasn't warm in the shade. Also inside it's not warm yet either.

I class as a heatwave when I've got sweaty balls inside the house and have the fan on jet mode :D

Supposed to be 22°C here at the moment, just finished the dog walk and I'm sweating where the sun don’t shine. It's also 22°C in the kitchen with the blind closed:(

Nice level of heat at the minute! Little breeze as well which is keeping things cool but it's nice to have some sun for a change and means we can have most of the windows open in the house.

This sort of heat (22/23) is my ideal weather, provided it still drops to 12-14 at night.

It's amazing how often the first day of a heatwave is so often underestimated around Hampshire, we were forecast 25C max today, but there's 27-30C being reported already at ~1330!

Lounge digital thermometer reading 25.4C, windows closed, fan pushing the warm air into the hall as planned... So far, it's ok, but all I'm doing is sitting at the pc.

In two minds whether to try and go out for a gentle plod on the ebike in a while, or wait until after dinner (albeit my record of after dinner rides has been awful so far this year). Missed the cool part of the day, but in fairness, it was 22C at 0930 and I wouldn't have realistically been ready to head out until ~1100 and by that stage it was already 25C.

Probably better to wait until the evening. You'll roast out there if you cycle now.

That's also what I'll be doing, but walking instead. Will go for a walk in the evening. Though, funnily enough, I'm planning on doing a day hike next Friday near Malvern, so hopefully I'm not roasting then

It will be warm, there's no doubt.

I've only had my ebike a year or so and I still have to remind myself often that on hot days or days I feel knackered, I can ramp up the legal motor assist, so my legs aren't generating relatively loads of heat that won't escape very quickly.

Plus like when I was happy being out for ~3 hours in weather like this on my non-electric bike, be selective of which lanes I ride, try and stick to the ones that have got some shade from the tree cover.

We'll see, first my lunch needs to go down for at least 30mins.
