Very strange as i haven't used a public PC but used the airport's wifi.

bought 70 USD worth of games on 1st Jan :(

serves me right i suppose buying so much credit :(

25 usd cards for me in the future i guess.

Anyone else had their account hacked?

So many scum bags on public wi-fi spots. If you watch that program "The Real Hustle" they show just how easy it is to steal passwords when in a wi-fi spot.

no one hacked his wireless whats the point for a few ££, it was either guessed (by an automated program), keylogged or sold by someone working for the company..... the person who did this is most likley in china

ok someone may have hacked his wifi but its much more likley to be one fo the 3 other options...

Slighty off topic but since they were downloadable goods how on earth do Credit Card theifs get delivery of goods used by stolen credit cards?

Has baffled me for some time, if your delivery address doesn't match that of the address when verified with the credit card company it would be cancelled/declined no?

So how do they do it?

Loads of companies deliver to office addresses also the thieves use and empty house address and stand outside them waiting for delivery van.

Thankfully quite a few companies deliver to different addresses amazon for one even ocuk will deliver to an address other than the credit card billing address. (Thank goodness as I live abroad and often send gifts this way to family back home).

In my case apple deauthorised all accounts but if the thief downloaded these games to an ipod then they'll have them forever as deauthorising the account doesn't stop the apps from being played even after a sync.

In my case it was a weak password which was probably hacked but how? how do they spam the apple server with hunderds of passwords?

How do you know it was a weak password?

I reckon it was probably sniffed out of the air or captured by a keylogger.

I don't know if you've seen it but 'The Register' has a news item on the 7th January about a Chinese website selling data for 50,000 hacked iTunes accounts.
