iTunes and NAS drive

I've recently moved all my music onto a NAS drive. When I start listening via iTunes it suddenly stops after random time periods and all of the songs in Itunes have exclamation marks next to them saying that they can't be found. If I reboot iTunes it's fine.

I've mapped the network drive and changed the music location in iTunes preferences, but still loses the files.

I'm assuming this is a network problem? I'm using Windows 7.

Thanks,

Dan

@Swarfega - It hasn't done it today for some reason, however when you go into explorer after it fails, it shows a red cross, but when you click on the mapped drive it usually opens although a couple of times it has taken a while.

@AMMUT - There's no settings on the NAS for sleep modes etc, so unless there's a setting in Windows?

Hey Danny, what NAS are you using?

How did you map the network drive? Using windows or a using a utility that came with the nas? Itunes can be funny sometimes and some NAS drives now have itunes server built in.
