ITV gain short term La Liga rights for 1 match per week for first three weeks

Negotiations for the live games for the rest of the season are on-going apparently. Barca's trip to Athletic Bilbao on Friday as well as Barca's first game at home on 25th August and Madrid's trip to Villareal on September 2nd will be shown live. No news of El Classico at all.

A season long highlights deal has also been signed as well with shows on ITV4 and ITV itself.
