My other half is looking to get a small comp built due to space being an issue can anyone help me with this? as I'm generally clueless as to what to get. she currently plays CS:GO / Overwatch as her main games but would like something that can handle streaming as well as playing

If you know someone with a Skylake chip you can flash the bios on the motherboard to the latest so that it can support kabylake, which would allow you to go for this CPU instead:

The i5-6400's 2.7ghz clock speed isn't that great, so it would be good to get the i5-7500 instead for a couple more quid and a bios flash.

I'm very surprised to see OCUK not stocking B250 or H250 ITX motherboards. The OP would do well to wait for Ryzen anyway.
