If you live on a hill why not park your car at the bottom of the hill during snowy weather? That way you only have to walk down the hill to your car and make it into work.

Because everyone else on the hill kind of also has the same idea. the nearest safe place to park if our road isn't clear is on the A23 which has room for about 20 cars before it all goes back to double yellow.
