I currently have an IXUS v which was one of their first digital compact and has done me proud for over 4 years.
It's 2MP and takes great snaps if you're reasonably careful.
Now the problem is my wife isn't careful and a lot of photos are ending up blurred which I can live with for holiday photos etc but we now have a 6 month old daughter and you don't get a chance to revisit their youth so every photo is precious to me.
Added to that the fact that 2MP won't blow up to A4 particularly well unless you get a lucky shot. So I think it's time to move on.
It's definitely going to be one of the above 3 cameras so please no recommending other brands, wifey is familiar with the Canon and changing make will set the photos back not forward.
The snap time must be quick, the blurriness comes from the fact that she hears the click and moves the camera which is invariably still taking the photo.
I realise the 60 and 65 are more or less the same camera, I suppose I'm asking if it's worth going up to the 800IS, is the image stability stuff worth it? Will that slow down overall snap time?
Is the loss of the viewfinder on the 65 annoying for anybody that's got one? Or is the screen so much better that it easily compensates?
God, I'm reviewed out so real opinions from people that own the above would be appreciated.
Cheers, Andy
