I bought a nice smart coat from Tesco of all places, about £60. It's lasted years and is nice and warm.

Always buy my winter coat in the summer when a lot are half price last one i got noticed in the last week they have put it back up by £30

To be honest that jacket in the op is crap. It won't keep you warm.

If you want a jacket to keep you warm then you need one that closes by the collar.

I am in my third winter with my jack wolfskin jacket and its great. Women like it as well.

Every self respecting man should have a Peacoat for winter. I got a cheap one from Burton out of season, it's not the warmest but luckily this country isn't cold but it is a good fit.

I've got a Minimalist and a Speedlite. Love my Marmot jackets.

Having just bought the Speedlite and a Rapha Softshell for cycling I'll have to forego a thick coat this year.
