Hi all,

Ive just been sent an email with an attachment from an old work mate.

the first page of the document that was attached says this:

Jamie Oliver's new cook book for free!
How good is this.....
Cook book = £20
Ingredients = £10
Getting sacked for "accidentally" releasing the book to the entire
planet before it even hits the shelves = PRICELESS!
It seems that someone at Jamie Oliver's publishing company sent a word document version of his 2nd book to one of their mates this morning. Unfortunately for the poor sap who sent the word document, it is now flying around the web at a rate of knots. So print what you like AND please spare a thought for the poor bugger that originally sent it, while enjoying the food you make from the recipes!!!

Now does anyone know is this is true or am i just having my leg pulled?

If it comes in an email i wouldnt trust it especialy if its a foward one.

It is true. I happened across a copy on a case I did. It's all there, in MS Word format.

Well i originally thought it was a joke too, however, if it is someone has put a hell of a lot of work into it. We are talking about 123 pages of pictures, recipes and advice. The lay out looks very professional as well, just like i would expect from a cook book.

However, it would probably cost less to buy it than to print it all off

That is an old as hell email, it was a joke email which took a few recipes from his first book or something along those lines and sent it out over the internet.

If it's similar to the one I've just accquired (it has when said, in your OP, on the first page) then it doesn't look too professional to me.

I got sent it last Christmas, there is a recipe for egg on toast in there

It's just a way of clogging up email accounts with over 100 pages and pictures

It's just a compilation of recipes from all his previous books. I believe it refers to the title as 'The Naked Chef 2', of which there is no such book - the sequel to TNC was 'The Return of the Naked Chef'.

Can't say for sure if the ingredients, measurements or instructions are accurate as it would probably be part of the game to alter them to cause problems.
