Things I'd sooner spend £35m on than Andy Carroll:
- Dani Alves, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a Tiger.
- Half of Kaka (the bottom half - using the remaining few million on the world's first leg transplant with Jonjo Shelvey)
- Blackburn Rovers
- A ****ing aircraft carrier, which I would then use to launch tactical bombing runs of both White Hart Lane AND the Olympic stadium (after 2012).
- A spare room in Bill Gates' house.
- More drugs, booze and hookers than even Charlie Sheen could cope with.

Indeed. As I said above, paying stupid money or not, at least we've got money to spend now.

They could atleast challenge for a CL spot next season if they continue to improve their squad.
That is indeed quite a pleasing thing, spend 60 million now, another 150 million in summer, lovely jubbly.
