January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

I don't agree there. I do as well and if he plays like those first 15mins we have a quality player on our hands, the rest of the game highlighted many things which we were told and i hope that Mancini knows what hes doing with him.
His position is on the bench when Tevez is back unless someone dresses as Mancini and plays 2 STRIKERS and 2 'WINGERS' whilst keeping the solid midfield eg De Jong--Toure
Team for utd game considering no injuries:
----Tevez----Balotelli-----
----------Silva-----------
---Milner---De Jong---Johnson
Kolarov--Toure---Kompany--Zab
-----------Hart---------------

Hugo Lloris would be a good signing for utd.
Always looked good in the champions league lyon matches i have watched and still young. Would command 20m+ though probably.

Which bit don't you agree with? That we shouldn't buy anyone? Or we need to play more as a team with who we've got?

I just don't see where we need someone new. At a push I never see Bridge do anything of note (unless that note is ******* something up) and I don't see why Barry starts so many games, but then I guess Yaya Toure hasn't exactly set the world alight either (apart from having a quite impressive ability to just choose a forward direction and run with the ball through multiple opponents).

That team you've named above if functioning as a happy cohesive unit should be able to beat anyone on their day. But the more we chop and change the more the essence of the 'team' will elude us. I'm not about to put up a "Go Home" sign outside CoMS to Dzeko and we do rely too much on Tevez at the moment, but if Balotelli hadn't knackered himself so quickly we might already be seeing him really stepping up to the plate. Tell you who I really would like at City, Hernandez. He shows exactly the right attitude of fighting his *** off for a first team place, and hopefully he carries that throughout his career. If Adebayor had half that drive he might not get so much stick.

We don't need any more expensive bench warmers. We need to get our heads down and let our results do the talking. IMO anyway.

Lloris is ****ing dreadful, one of those players who's amazing in all games but so unbelievably average in real life. Akinfeev imo is amassing but I doubt we'll ever get him :(

edit: he's also French. Eurgh France.

Man Utd are in desperate need of a few world class mid fielders and a new goal keeper... maybe also another defender. Too many players looking to retire at the end of this season.

I will make it simple

ManMecca Citch will buy everyone, and still not finish top 4.

Utd will not sign anyone until end of season.

If I were in charge at Utd I'd be looking at the young German keepers, Neuer or Adler. I rate them both very highly.

I'm not expecting Sheffield Wednesday to sign anyone :(

I'd like to see Manchester United strengthen, but to be honest I don't think Fergie would do it in the January window.

I fully expect there to be people leaving City.

Inter Milan will have one eye on Tottenham defender Gareth Bale when they visit White Hart Lane in the Champions League this week.

Damn it! I'd hoped he'd use his invisibilty cloak and drift past their defence.

lies.

ferguson has Carrick. and Carrick has ferguson. its a win win situation.

And fergie is omniponent and omniscient. How can you tell him what he needs and what he doesnt need? he is actually our most sucessful manager ever. He is not only beyond criticism, he is beyond making suggestions to as well.

this isnt a game you know. you cant just go out and buy good players when they become available at low prices.

thats about the summary of riˈdikyələs arguments ive had when proposing ANY changes to the man utd squad. i hope u dont have to endure the same.

blah, blah, blah, WTF is that? blah, blah..

well, i went a bit phonentic on you.

but are you saying that those summary arguments arent the ones that have been leveraged time and time again when i suggested that maybe we slacked off instead of going after the right players at the right time?

Maybe Ferguson deserves criticism, but you don't criticise. You rage. There's a huge difference.

Manu def need to make atleast 1 big signing, hopefully the Rooney thing will help it happen.

I think that is something that everyone knows, but it's hard to do when you can't even come close to matching your rivals for money.
