Liverpool are closer to signing Ince from Blackpool for 6 mill apparently, Swansea enquired but were scared off by the price - if that's the case why are we bidding that high if no one else is interested. His head has been turned, go low!

Why do you think it hasn't worked out for him at Liverpool? Has he simply not been given the games as he's only there on loan?

Main factor is Gerrard is essentially playing in his role, but the lack of game time and he didn't seem to have the physicality to handle himself and the pace of the EPL haven't helped either.

Not sure but Ince has comfortably dicked Zaha in terms of goals and assists over the course of the last season and a half yet he's got a far higher value.

According to a piece in today's Telegraph, that's the sticking point. Blackpool value him at £6m which is what we've reportedly offered but when you take into account the sell on clause and Ince's personal cut of the deal, Blackpool are left with a little over £3m.

We are extremely desperate for a new CB now. There are talks that Colo is carrying a knock, Taylor still isn't going to be fit enough the Norwhich game. Perch went off injured at half time, and Simpson has a broken toe.

Apparently we have postponed the extended loan agreement for Dummett to St Mirren. Which goes to prove how woeful Shane Ferguson is, no idea why people rate him.

Anyway, I just hope we don't wait until the summer when Douglas' contract is up, otherwise no matter how good our attack is, we will leak goals in every week.
