January Transfer Window 2012/2013 Season Rumours/Signings

rumours going around that sandro will be out for the rest of the season :/

now's the time to get a playmaker, levy. the only good to come from this (if true) is that parker wont be sold.

Whats all this i hear about Wilfried Zaha? Is he even any good, i admit i havent seen much if any of his play. But looking at his career stats he hasnt exactly done much. is he a winger or a striker, if its the latter then...i just dont know.

No idea but he better be good if he's costing us £12m. :o

AFAIK Zaha is a winger which while is a position we're short on (assuming Nani leaves) I'm not sure bringing in a player from the championship is exactly a like for like replacement :/

Maybe I'm being close minded but based on nothing but the fact he players in a lower league I hope this just another baseless rumour (like the Nathaniel Clyne one)

Zaha is an immense prospect and already very good, just remains to be seen whether he'll develop even further at a bigger club. He's not the best prospect playing regularly in the Championship though, probably second best. Out of the clubs interested he'd fit in better at Utd, and would probably mean Nani off in the summer? Zaha is definitely Premiership quality already, just whether he'll stagnate like Walcott did for a little while after the big move.

Who's the best prospect then?

I hope to god Nani doesn't leave in the summer, he's one of the best players the club has by far.

Zaha is a prospect for the future, for a player of his age he has quite a lot of experience so that's also on his side.

Even if a deal is done, everything I've read has suggested it will be an initial fee and the deal will be made up to £12million in appearance and performance related add ons.

He's a young talented English player, I'm not entirely sure why people are too down on the idea, especially considering if he was going to Liverpool it would be a fee of at least £40 million ;).

Is he really that big a prospect? Whenever I've seen him he's never looked that good. Pigeon mentioned it the other day - Tom Ince (same age) is having a far better/more productive season than Zaha and is seemingly available at half the price.

Just read about Robbie Keane training with Spurs. Good to see him back, i always liked him. Could be a good move for spurs.

He ruled out a move to play anywhere a few weeks ago, he's just there training for two weeks to get fitness back up before the MLS season restarts soon.

He's another one that is silly fast so always looks impressive, basically like Moses when he was at Palace. Not sure if he will develop into anything. He hasn't scored that many and he does play up top a lot. Then you see Ince who's scored 13 from an attacking midfield position and has a silly amount of assists. Who knows

Will Hughes i'd have thought, most of my Palace supporting mates say he probably edges it over Zaha too (although obviously rate Zaha highly). There is a difference with him being 17, though.

David Platt was at the Amex to see him on saturday, though he went off injured quite early. It was hardly the best game to show him off anyway tbh, he looked very lightweight, though I realise he is very young.

Zaha is involved in most of Palace's (Murray's) goals, not sure what his assists are, though.
