Japanese Capacitors

i was lookin through the dfi motherboards section and saw

100% Japanese Capacitors

here

and was woundering does it make any difference

good caps are good caps, wherever there made, bu generally japan manufactures high quality electronic components so yeah i suppose it does, would be better if they actually listed the make and model they use

A few years back there was a spate of motherboards failing due to faulty capacitors. Try Googling bad Abit capacitors, although the problem wasn't limited to only Abit motherboards.

No, it wasnt. infact epox had a much harder time with failing caps
