Apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn't believe it when I read it - I know the sweet & innocent 'schoolgirl' thing has been an easy way to make a few bucks in Japan, but isn't this going too far?

Japan has a new lads mag pin-up. Saaya Irie is part of a girl group called Sweet Kiss, and is selling thousands of DVDs and magazines, featuring her clad in no more than a bikini. Saaya, whose nickname is "kyonyu", or "buxom" is 12 years-old.

The under-15 market is the fastest growing in Japanese porn. Masahiro Kitagawa, one of the industry's new star spotters says "The weakening of Japanese men means guys now place a lot of importance on imagining they have control over the opposite sex... The polarization of the market is likely to continue, but I don't think it will go any lower than the Under-10s."

He's wrong: the latest erotic pin-up is nine year-old Mizuki Furui. Her first photo collection has already sold over 10,000 copies. The oriental JonBenet appears in a selection of poses wearing school uniform, PE kit and a swimsuit, licking an ice cream etc.

Young Japan is in the middle of a sexual freedom explosion as this generation doesn’t have reservations of its parents. The media has a huge part in this and they are consistently bombarded with attractive women selling them everything from shoes to big-macs while dressed in a bikini 2 sizes to small.

That's quite shocking. A colleague of mine who lived in Japan for 3 years once described the Japanese as a nation of paedophiles. I thought he was being a bit crude and taking the mickey but evidently not.
Where else in the world can you buy a pair of 'Used schoolgirls knickers' from a vending machine?

To the poster who said she doenst look 12. Sorry, she CLEARLY does look 12. I cant believe this, and some of the comments on the sites are even worse!

I haven't been to Japan myself but the guy I mentioned told me that he had one of them just outside his apartment and apparently they were all over the place. He's not the sort to lie about such things either.
