After struggling to get the last of my peanut butter out today, I just thought, Why the hell are glass jars designed the way they are?

Some jars are moulded in such a way there is zero chance you can scrape out the contents at the bottom!

Is there a reason for this? obviously the top end needs to be threaded in most cases, but its time they came up with a better alternative!

Just thought id share that with you.

My morning rant over :D

They can say it contains Xg of food and charge less for it, but you don't get it all so have to return earlier to buy more.

/cynic.

I used to think the same thing about yoghurt pots... why didnt they just get a generic teaspoon and use the curve of that to shape the bottom of the pot rather than making all kinds of bumps and shapes that a spoon cant easily get into ??

Jaime Oliver did something similar with his pestle and mortar shaker thing, that has a spoon shaped exactly so you can get everything from the bottom of it...

Note to self: get out more...

The silicon spatulas from Le Creuset are very cleverly shaped and can pwn the bottoms of jars.

Coincidentally the Multimat (also from Le Creuset) can pwn jar tops too (If you're a weak ass).

Used to work there, can help but pimp it :(

I've got an awesome jar spatula that reaches that parts that knives can't, you should find one of them.

Why, where's the funny part?

I'm laughing at him as apparently the only way he can get a women is with the length of his fingers and not the parts which matter.
