Jersey track layout unveiled (for 2013 season)

Looks average, the hairpin at the end looks quality but the snaking straights will be terrible, unless they are both DRS zones...

Should be better than Valencia by having HILLS! Hills always fix f1, if its the family they are good to watch race and everyone else is good to race up and down them as it shows one of the main variables in car design TRACTION!

Turn 4 is going to be a nightmare if there is a crash there. Its got zero run off and is on a cliff face so will be a struggle to get cranes anywhere near...

:( street circuit :(

Am I the only who prefers traditional tracks like spa, Monza over street ones?

Yes and no. Street circuits get people closer to the action, and its awesome to see precision driving (more so than usual), zero room for error, but this also results in zero room for overtaking, like Monaco. I really like Melbourne for example, but then Valencia and Singapore are poor.

The track its self looks like its going to be soooooo dull, almost fell asleep watching Valencia last year and looks like next year i'll be doing the same, I think the only reason why its such a big deal is because of where it is, the view in the background will be amazing with the skyscrapers and stuff

I think it could be massively improved by reversing the direction. It would but both the hairpin and the chicane at the top of the hill at the end of long wide fast sections of track.

I'm staggered. Has any one looked at the area on Google Street view? It's a hole.:D I thought 'the race round the container port' (Valencia) was bad.

You can barely see that amazing New York skyline for most of the lap and the bit you can is while driving through a car park... I guess the directors will have to get creative with endless skyline/hotel-to-track panning shots like they do at Abu Dhabi and Singapore.

Bernie. You have enough money. Really, you do. Stop dragging F1 to horrendous venues like this.

Sao Paulo is in the middle of a slum and people love it.

Its not all about where the track is, its about the layout too. Unfortunately the Jersey track has neither going for it...
