So, looks like the richest billionaire living in the UK has decided to dip his toes into F1 for the first time.
Safely, obviously with Mercedes. This makes me think this guy is the sort of bloke that if this works well for Ineos, could well look at investing in a full UK based F1 team at some point ? Thought's peeps ?

They'll be one of the first calls if Mercedes partly or fulling pull the plug I suspect. Until then they'll just sit relatively quietly in the wings.

Force India used to be, and still kind-of are, but not anywhere near as tightly as Ferrari/Alfa, Red Bull/Alpha Tauri

One of the reasons for posting this thread is that Petronos is also a petrochemical company and they have been a major sponsor of Merc for years. Jim Ratcliffe owns Ineos, which is also a petrochemical company and makes me wonder where this leaves Petronos.
