Hi guys, I think I know what your answers will be but been having a bit of a rough time at work lately and the final straw came yesterday when they refused a couple of expenses, I've had a meeting with them today and they apologised and agreed to pay them saying they shouldn't have been refused in the 1st place.

Now the curve ball is I've been called regarding a 6 month contract position and they want me to start asap (I only have to give 1 weeks notice at my current job), I'm seriously thinking of taking it but am I crazy to leave a permanent position (hate the travelling but love the actual work when onsite) to do a 6 month contract with no guarantee of further extension (likely but not cast iron)?

If it helps I was a contractor for a couple of years up until I took this job last year

If you are not happy at your current place go for it. Who knows what the future will bring, that's part of the fun.
